Home Energy Assessment

Home Energy Assessment

The Home Energy Assessment benchmarks home’s energy efficiency and evaluates what rebates you qualify for. Assessment checks for combustion safety issues such as gas leaks and indoor air quality as well. The assessment begins with a customer interview so we can get to know your goals and concerns. Whether it’s comfort or energy savings, we customize the solution with a road map of energy upgrades and rebates from state and local programs.

Typical tests include infiltration (locating drafts), insulation (checking walls, attic, floors), energy model (computer modeling for planning and rebates), duct-work (checking duct systems), moisture (check and prevention), and combustion safety (gas leaks, back drafting, combustion flue gases, indoor air quality).
